CLICCS – Climate, Climate Change and Society – Projekt B1: Klimazukünfte werden sozial konstruiert (Project B1: Climate Futures are socially constructed)
The research project
How people perceive climate change, how they communicate about it, and how they discuss different impressions and beliefs affects how societies imagine and negotiate the future climate. In such debates, responsibility for climate change and mitigation measures are negotiated and, accordingly, certain solutions are advocated or rejected – imagined climate futures thus influence the plausibility of possible climate futures.
