Climate Change and Rural Communities: Perceptions, Vulnerability and Adaptation Strategies, Cauca, Colombia

I am currently doing my doctoral project, the thematic of my research is “Climate change and rural communities: perceptions, vulnerability and adaptation strategies, Cauca, Colombia”. My goal is to contribute to the impact reduction generated by climate change on the variability of livelihoods, establishing adaptability strategies with food-safe conditions and seeking sustainable development of the environment.

According to my research interests I work with socio-ecological system processes and the links between nature, economy, and society mainly in rural communities trying to capture local perspectives with active community participation, and its’ linkages to climate change.
