Feminisms, nature(s), city, emotions, quantitative/qualitative methods, and reflection on these have long accompanied my study of geography. My work has been concerned with feminist perspectives on the imperial mode of living, emotional experiences in fieldwork, and imaginaries of human-nature relations, among other topics. In my bachelor’s thesis, I conducted empirical research using creative methods on imaginaries of human-nature relations in the city, using parklets as an example. In light of current multiple crises, I am particularly interested in the transformation towards sustainable living. I am studying currently the M.Sc. Urban Design at HafenCity University.
In the working group AG KGGU, I worked as a student employee from January 2020 to March 2023. Thereby, I supported the working group in a wide range of tasks that are part of the daily research routine. Most notably, I was involved in addressing diversity-sensitive teaching – here I organized a series of events in collaboration with Martina Neuburger and Sonja Kanemaki and worked in a working group at the Institute of Geography. I also had fun creating and maintaining various websites for the AG KGGU and am still the contact person for this new website.
Since January 2023, I have been employed at the Foundation “Innovation in der Hochschullehre” and can contribute my experience from the university there.
