I am interested in and primarily engaged with the branch of Queer Geographies. These assume that space and power relations forming and moving within it are cis-heteronormative and binary gendered. Against this background, queer geographies attempt to approach perceptions of space and spatial processes from a queer or queer-feminist and power-critical perspective.
In addition, I am interested in spatial social-ecological transformation processes and how a queer feminist critique of capitalism can complement them.
